My wife thought I was having an affair when my razor blade consumption dropped from one blade a week to one blade every 90 days or more. Jokes aside, here are some of the real-life benefits I have enjoyed over the past fourteen and a half years;

These days a razor blade easily lasts three months but quite a few have been good for over six months. My last blade lasted 173 days shaving every day! And believe me, there's nothing special about the blades I use. I use a standard Schick Quattro and before that a Gillette GII … no change … the one is as good as the other.
I average about 90 shaves from each blade WITHOUT ever getting razor burn! You could too … but here's my disclaimer out in the open.
